post color care


Wait 48 hours before you wash your hair. This gives the cuticle (the outer layer of the hair strand) a chance to close up again, sealing in your color. Dry shampoo is okay, though!


Turn down the temperature. Yeah, I know, hot showers are a glorious thing. But the higher that water temp, the faster your color will fade. Use warm, not hot, water when you wash and rinse your hair.


Use color-safe shampoo and conditioner, and always use a thermal heat protectant if you blow dry or heat style.

Keep those good hair vibes going with the same great products I use in the salon. My SHOP has all of my stock available for online purchase and local pick up. If you have questions about what products are best for your hair, just let me know! I want to make sure you have great hair in between salon visits, too.


when should you come back?

Color and style maintenance varies,

but in general, I recommend:​

  • Short haircut: 4-6 weeks

  • Long haircut: 3-4 months

  • Curly Cut: 4-6 months

  • Root retouch: 4-8 weeks

  • Toning gloss: 4-6 weeks

  • Balayage: 2-6 months

If you did not pre-book at your appointment, I offer the convenience of online booking 24/7. Please plan to schedule a month before you need to come back.

RETAIL RETURNS: I hope you love the products you purchased. If something doesn't seem to be working, please let me know. I'll make sure you know how to use it correctly, but if it's just not for you, that's okay! I accept returns for retail credit, so you can swap it out for something you like better.

SERVICE GUARANTEE: I want you to love your hair! If something about your cut or color isn't quite right, please let me know within 7 days of your service. I will have you stop by for a quick consultation so we can discuss a solution and schedule time to make the correction.
