This was my last balayage in Florence, Alabama. Interestingly enough, this fabulous head of hair was also my first balayage in Florence. I didn't plan it that way, it just happened, but I like the symbolism of it.
I moved back to Alabama after my divorce and proceeded to rebuild my life. I loved my life in Florence (my house in particular), being able to walk to work downtown, and all the wonderful people who trusted me with their hair. It's been a great three years. And now I'm venturing on to new things! I'm getting married in October and starting my new life in Huntsville right now. I'm working hard to get moved, both my personal things and my salon. Everything is a little chaotic right now, but I know it is all for the best!
I am currently booking appointments for my new space in Huntsville, a private suite at Salons by JC in the Whole Foods Shopping Center. I'm still setting up everything, but I am so excited to get back to work and meet some fun new people here!
Most of all, though, I'm feeling immense gratitude to everyone who supported me these last few years: my family, for emotional and tangible support, and my clients for all the good conversation and great hair moments. You all helped make a difficult transition become something beautiful. I am forever grateful for all of you.
